Can I get a WOOT WOOT!! This summer’s Toronto food festival circuit is bigger and better than ever with a ton of food truck fests, street fests, beer and wine fests, and rib fests. The only thing that these festivals share in common is the love of all things edible – but just like the city itself, Toronto festivals showcase the unique food palettes and culinary talents of chefs and restaurants that we have to offer. Don’t expect the same food at each fest – each draws on differing tastes from across our culturally diverse city!

Summer Baby? Endless Toronto Birthday Options

Summer baby? Stop complaining about your birthday. If you’re one of the lucky few that are able to celebrate your birthday in the summer in Toronto, I envy you. You really do not have any justification to complain. Zip. Nada. As a January baby, my choices for birthday venues are extremely limited and usually require hand and boot warmers.

Toronto Patios: Lunch at Mercatto and Drinks at Mascot

Have you ever been to Celebration, Florida? It’s pretty much, well, the perfect place for a celebratory dinner when you visit Orlando. Jessica and I (with the hubs and hubs-to-be) met up with our family for a quick trip down south and a bit of a family reunion. Orlando is pretty much a touristy fam-jam dream. Big old chain restaurants full of families, minivans and kids line every road around Disney, Celebration is our go-to for a more grown-up night out.
