Mixing Up Your Perfect Skin Routine with K-Beauty New Finds

Jessica and I are firm believers in finding a skin care routine that works for you and sticking with it. My number one secret for maintaining great skin is consistency with my skin care routine. We are constantly bombarded with the newest miracle product that will give you and everyone else gorgeous skin instantly. Don’t get me wrong, we love to try new products and are always always searching for the next holy grail – reading Sephora reviews for hours is a guilty pleasure of mine! But when I introduce a new product into my skin care routine, I’m SO SO careful. I always google the heck out of any new product I want to try to find as many reviews by honest bloggers I can. K-Beauty (or Korean Beauty) has been an open secret in the west for a while. K-Beauty companies are always on the cutting edge of the latest skin care science and technology. Sometimes the result can be a bit whacky for my Canadian tastes (snail goop!?), but hey, whatever works right?! Here are some of my favourite K-Beauty products currently on rotation in my skin care regime.

Toronto Summer Concert Hit List – Budweiser Stage

budweiser stage molson amp concert venue live music artists outdoor to do toronto beer canadian pints tall boys crowds tourism review preformers bands musical festivals What a time for live music in our city!  Toronto is a world class destination that attracts some of the biggest and best musical acts in the world. Some of my best summer memories happen at the Molson Amp, now known as the Budweiser Stage, beer in hand, friends by my side, ass on the grass. Life just does not get more enchanting than listening to live music on a summer’s night in Toronto. Catching a concert here is basically a rite of passage if you live anywhere near Toronto… but because it’s only open from June to September, it makes watching a concert here extra special.

Dinner Party 101

Dinner parties are odd ducks. Just say the word “dinner party” and I imagine a 1950s housewife serving perfect meatloaf to guests in a formal dining room. Boring, stuffy, and so old-fashioned right? Having a grown-up dinner party, without feeling too grown-up, is all about focusing on a few key details and keeping things simple. Here’s how I throw a fun, delicious, memorable gathering without any of the stuffiness…or the fear.

Hotdogs and Baseball: What you need to know about the Blue Jays

Sports! Toronto loves its sports teams, and thats right, the boys of summer are back and already well into their 2017 season. We don’t just bleed blue and white in the winter. There is nothing like experiencing a sports game in person. Despite the rough start (looking at you Jays), rollercoaster rides (Leafs… you’re guilty!) and let downs (Raps, I can’t take your playoff runs no ‘mo) there is nothing like experiencing a sports game in person. There’s a few things that you should know before taking in a game at the SkyDome- er, Rogers Center this summer… but the bottom line? You must!
