Low-carb Rice Paper Rolls – so fresh and SO easy!

Are you looking for a easy appetizer to bring along to a summer picnic? These rice paper rolls are not only deliciously easy to put together (no oven required!), they are fresh, savoury, crunchy and bursting with flavour. Did I mention these rolls are low carb too?! You may have had rice paper rolls at your favourite Vietnamese restaurant and wondered how they put these yummy little packets together. One of our friends gave us her family’s recipe and we couldn’t help but share it with our Trade and Charm followers. It’s now one of my favourite new dishes and the best possible thing you can eat if you’re trying to slim down for summer.

Crafty Betch: Pineapple EVERYTHING

Pineapples are everywhere at the moment. Throw pillows, candles, prints on your wall. That’s right, you’re basically taking design inspo from your mom who’s obsessed with Tommy Bahama. Oh well, pineapples are cute AF. Especially when you’re wearing one! Jcrew has some cute pineapple t-shirts but I was feeling crafty and decided to try my hand at DIY-ing a pineapple “printed” t-shirt. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Conquering Wedding Season in Toronto (on a budget)

It’s officially wedding season! If you’re like me, you started planning out what to wear to all of the events you have on your calendar ages ago. Hair, makeup, nails, shoes, accessories needs to be on point. And that doesn’t even start to cover the most important bit (other than the bride and groom of course) – your outfit!
