Tuscan Road Trip Part 1 – Medieval Siena

Siena is often overlooked. Nestled between the two powerhouse Italian cities, Florence and Rome, unless Siena is specifically on your travel itinerary, it’s easy to whiz by on the A1 onto bigger cities. But with plenty to see and plenty more places to eat, our Tuscan road trip through the Val d’Orcia (think endless rolling hills of green, tall cyprus trees and fields of wheat) started off in medieval Siena.
